Camp Roastin' Ears
Leaving the husks on the corn keeps Camp Roastin' Ears from burning the kernels. There is just something about sitting around a campfire and eating corn on the cob that makes the meal complete. Kids love this recipe...what a great way to get them to eat their vegetables. Don't wait until the next camping trip to fix this one, make it tonight on the back yard grill.
6 ears fresh white or yellow corn with husks attached
2 T melted butter
Salt & Pepper to taste
Pull back but do not remove husks. Remove silks, wash & pat dry. Brush butter on corn. Pull husks back over corn. Grill covered over high heat 25 minutes turning every 5 minutes or so. Pull back husks before serving. Season to taste.
